What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Clients can expect to take away a feeling of acceptance and being heard. There may be some sessions that are more difficult to process, and those times may leave you feeling emotionally tired by the end. It is very important that your needs are met during our sessions together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
First and foremost, I believe in a Person-Centered approach with clients. This approach allows you to be your genuine, authentic self with unconditional acceptance. I also utilize Gestalt underpinnings during sessions. Gestalt therapy is an experiential, present-focused therapeutic approach that emphasizes awareness, personal responsibility, and the integration of mind, body, and emotions. It helps clients understand how past experiences shape their present behaviors and offers tools to increase self-awareness and bring about lasting change. This approach often uses creative techniques and encourages active participation from both the therapist and the client. We'll also focus on developing practical strategies to manage difficult emotions and change behaviors that are no longer serving you. Most sessions are somewhat structured, with an emphasis on actively applying what you learn outside of our meetings. Remember, our journey together is about growth and empowerment, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
