My name is Dana Mariano and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
I graduated with a master’s degree in School Counseling in 2008. For 15 years, I worked in a school setting with students’ ages ranging from 11-21 years old. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression and mood disorders. I also have experience working with teenagers who experience various school stressors, physical stressors and relationship issues. While I have spent most of my career working with adolescents and teens, I welcome adults to my practice! Regardless of age, I strive to tailor each session around individual client needs.
Currently, my practice is set up to meet with clients virtually. Even though we won't be in the same room, you are my focus! I utilize a whole self approach and help to address needs in not just your emotional self, but also your physical. The virtual space that I keep is meant to help you heal and grow. I look forward to working with you!
In addition to working with clients in a therapeutic manner, I am also a 3rd year doctoral student at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. During my time in this program, I found myself expanding my passion by gaining more knowledge and experience working in private practice. Also during this time I also became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
